Wilmington, DE –
Announcing his candidacy for president last week, former Vice President Joe Biden said he had “a good feel” for what America needs and vowed to be a “hands-on” leader who would “grope for solutions to America’s problems.” Mr. Biden said that, if elected, he would “reach beneath the surface, get a firm grasp on the underlying issues, then slowly flesh out the solutions.”
“I have faith,” said Mr. Biden, “that once we wrap our arms around the issues that separate us we will gradually feel our way towards the sweet spot that brings us together.”
“I want every American to feel like their president is standing right behind them with a helping hand, ready to come together with them to explore fresh terrain, touch the future, and embrace all the fruits of this great nation.”
