Sources close to the White House have confirmed that Vice President Mike Pence has repeatedly expressed interest in a solid probe. He has talked of this moment since long before the election, and seems more joyful as the time for it draws near. “I would like Mother to be present for it, but I understand if that is not going to be possible,” Pence told the source. “I have wanted this since I was in junior high. I do hope it does not start off too rough, but I know that once I see what it is like, I will be able to take the brunt force of it.” We have not been able to confirm how Mrs. Pence feels about her husband’s glee.
