Black History Month reports that it received a call last night from the boss to show up first thing this morning for an unscheduled double shift, “or else.”
“Of course I showed up to do the job, but you best believe I’ll never get any overtime pay.”
A resigned Black History Month said it was long acquainted with “less than ideal” conditions in the workplace.
“First they want me to work an extra day, then they don’t want my ass back in here for another year. It’s like I don’t even exist except in February.”
