As airlines realize that eliminating the middle seat was going to impact their bottom line, and do little to curb the spread of the Coronavirus anyways, they are now making the bold move to fly with the windows down. A spokesperson for the FAA said, “We all know that fresh air is best, and because we care about the safety of our travelers, we’re doing all we can to get that good air into the cabin.” When asked about what that would do to cabin pressure, the spokesperson pointed out that all passengers should be in their seats with their seat-belts securely fastened, unless they’re in the bathroom, and they do not recommend using the bathroom. “We do that safety training at the beginning of every flight. Pay attention.”
